Nah, West Virginians aren't extinct in Fallout 76. While the game's setting – a post-apocalyptic West Virginia – might make it seem like there's no one around, the fact is, players themselves represent the survivors emerging from Vault 76. Plus, there are all kinds of non-player characters (NPCs) scattered around, from settlers to raiders and even more exotic folks. So, even though it might look like West Virginia has seen better days, it's far from empty!

Nope, West Virginians ain't gone. They're around, maybe not the way you'd expect, but between other players and NPCs, Appalachia's still kickin'. Plus, you get to help rebuild, so technically, you're the new West Virginian!

West Virginians in Fallout 76? Literally everyone playing the game is the new generation of West Virginians. Calling them extinct is like saying there's no fun in gaming – just plain wrong.

Actually, if you really think about it, everyone's a West Virginian in Fallout 76. You, the other players, and the NPCs trying to make it in the ruins. So yeah, extinct? Far from it.
