Sorry to break it to you, but no, a Fallout 76 preorder can't be transferred to Steam. Steam and Bethesda have their own platforms and accounts, so they don't allow for direct transfers of game preorders or purchases between them. It's like trying to use an Xbox game disc on a PlayStation; they're just not compatible.

Actually, I tried this with my own preorder thinking I could swap over to Steam last minute. Learned the hard way that it's a no-go. Had to stick with my original platform choice. So, from firsthand experience, that transfer is a definite no.

Nope, once you've chosen your platform and preordered, you're locked in. It's like ordering pizza from one place and trying to pick it up at another. Doesn't work that way.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
