Can a player's hand be zero in MTG?
SwellingDump路7 months agoAbsolutely! In Magic The Gathering, having zero cards in hand can definitely happen and it's not always a bad thing. Some decks are designed to play fast and empty their hand quickly, relying on the battlefield rather than holding cards. Plus, there are strategies and cards that punish players for having too many cards in hand, so sometimes, running on empty is part of the plan!

Yep, zero cards is totally possible and sometimes it's exactly what you want. Ever heard of 'Hellbent' from the Rakdos guild? It gives bonuses if you have no cards in hand. So, having no cards can actually be to your advantage!
Honestly, if you're at zero cards in hand, you better hope you have a good strategy or it's basically game over. Sure, there are exceptions, but usually, it's not where you wanna be.
