Nope. Once a phase starts, you're locked in. You gotta wait for the right moment before or after to make your move.

Absolutely! In MTG, players can respond to the changing of phases and steps in a game. It's all about timing and knowing when you can play instants or activate abilities. For example, during the Untap, Upkeep, and Draw phases, you generally can't play spells or abilities, but starting from the Main Phase, and especially during the Combat and End steps, that's your chance to shine. Just remember, you can't just interrupt the phase change itself, but you can respond before and after the change is completed.

Short answer: Yes, but it's tricky. You need to know when you can actually do something. Instants and abilities can be used at specific times, like during the end step or after declaring attackers. Timing is everything.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
