Check if your NAT type is set to 'Open'. You can find this in your network settings. If it's 'Strict' or 'Moderate', it might cause party issues.

I've had this issue before. A hard reset (holding the Xbox button for 10 seconds) usually sorted things out for me!

Try restarting your Xbox and router. Sometimes a simple reboot fixes connectivity issues.
