Nope, Codsworth, like most companions in Fallout 4, can't float over water. He’ll just awkwardly wade through or kind of glitchily move across if it's shallow enough. Gotta love the quirks of the Commonwealth!

Absolutely not. Codsworth treats water like lava. No floating, just a very determined sinking and then walking on the seabed.

Codsworth does his best, but floating over water isn't in his repertoire. He'll walk on the bottom or find a way around if it's too deep. Think of him more like a submerged submarine than a hovercraft.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
