Lol, of course, you can exit. Imagine being stuck in trade forever because you pressed the wrong button. Just hit 'Tab', 'Circle', or 'B' depending on your platform.

Absolutely! Just hit the 'Tab' key on PC, 'Circle' on PS4, or 'B' on Xbox One to back out of any trade session with a vendor. No need to finalize the trade if you change your mind!
