Can Fallout 4 Run on a Core 2 Quad 9550?
DemonstratingUnit路7 months agoSadly, no dice. Fallout 4 asks for at least an Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent. The Core 2 Quad 9550 is a bit too old school to meet the game's requirements. Might be time for an upgrade if you're itching to explore the wasteland.

Actually, you might pull it off on the lowest settings if you're not too picky. I ran Fallout 4 on a rig that's not too far off from a Core 2 Quad. Wasn't pretty, but it was playable!
It's a stretch but potentially doable. Pair that CPU with a decent GPU, drop the settings to low, and close any background apps. It won't be the smoothest ride in the Commonwealth, but where there's a will, there's a way.
Nope! Needs more juice.
