Sadly, no dice. Fallout 4 asks for at least an Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent. The Core 2 Quad 9550 is a bit too old school to meet the game's requirements. Might be time for an upgrade if you're itching to explore the wasteland.

Actually, you might pull it off on the lowest settings if you're not too picky. I ran Fallout 4 on a rig that's not too far off from a Core 2 Quad. Wasn't pretty, but it was playable!

It's a stretch but potentially doable. Pair that CPU with a decent GPU, drop the settings to low, and close any background apps. It won't be the smoothest ride in the Commonwealth, but where there's a will, there's a way.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
