Actually, GTA 5 next gen doesn't do cross-gen play. So, if you're on PS5, you won't be able to play directly with friends on PS4. It's a bummer, but the next-gen upgrades do offer enhanced graphics and faster load times to sweeten the deal.
GTA 5 crossplay? Nah, doesn't exist between next-gen and PS4. You're stuck in your gen-pool, my friend. Upgrade or make friends in the same console generation!
