Short answer, nope. Steam Deck is all about that Steam library life. Nintendo games are a no-go unless you're looking into emulation, which is a whole can of worms.

Technically, you can't directly play Nintendo games on the Steam Deck because it's designed to play games from your Steam library. However, with some technical know-how, you might be able to use emulators to play Nintendo games. Just keep in mind this enters a legally gray area, and the performance may vary.

Absolutely not in the official capacity. The Steam Deck is tailored for PC gaming via Steam. Nintendo games require either the original console or an emulator, and the latter isn't something Steam supports.

Actually, I managed to get a couple of old Nintendo classics running on my Steam Deck through an emulator. It's not straightforward and probably not what the device was intended for, but it's doable if you're willing to experiment and understand the risks involved.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
