Short answer: Yes! You'll have to tinker a bit, maybe even install Windows, but it's totally doable. Steam Deck isn't just for SteamOS games.

Gotta say, not all heroes wear capes. Managed to get a bunch of 'unsupported' games running on my Steam Deck. It's all about experimenting and a little bit of tech magic. Don't let the 'unsupported' tag scare you.

Absolutely! While Steam Deck is optimized for games in the SteamOS and those verified to run seamlessly, you're not limited to just those. The device runs a version of Linux, so you can install Windows if you want to, which dramatically expands the list of playable titles. Plus, many unverified games might work perfectly fine鈥攜ou just gotta try 'em out!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
