Been there, done that. Tried running Valorant on my Ubuntu setup using a VM and Wine. It's doable but brace yourself for a headache. Performance takes a hit and it's not the same as playing on Windows. If you're serious about your Valorant game, I’d recommend sticking to a Windows setup.

Straight talk, no. Valorant's strictly a no-go on Ubuntu. Riot Games made it for Windows only. You might find ways around it, but it's not gonna be a walk in the park. If you're really into Valorant, might be time to consider dual-booting Windows or getting a dedicated gaming rig.

Oops, gonna have to be the bearer of bad news here. Valorant is a Windows-exclusive, meaning it's not natively supported on Ubuntu or any Linux distributions for that matter. But, there's a silver lining! Some players get creative with Wine or a Virtual Machine to run Windows on Ubuntu and then play Valorant. It's not perfect and might take some tech gymnastics, but where there’s a will, there's a way!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
