Definitely, but remember, it's a one-island-per-console deal. Want a fresh start? Ready to say goodbye to your current islanders? Then go for it, but remember, it’s a clean slate, so everything from your current saves gets wiped. It's like moving to a whole new town without a forwarding address!

For sure! You can absolutely start a new island in Animal Crossing. Keep in mind, though, if you're playing on the same Nintendo Switch, starting anew means you'll have to delete your current island. Make sure to backup any important stuff you wanna keep because once you erase, there's no going back!

Yes, but think hard before you do. Deleting your island to start over is like throwing a perfectly good cake out just because you want to try baking a new one. Sometimes, it's better to work with what you've got.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
