Gold-bordered MTG cards are super cool, but you gotta know where they fit. Officially, they're not legal in sanctioned Magic The Gathering tournaments because they're from special sets like the World Championship decks. They're meant more for casual play and showing off than for competitive scenes. But hey, if your playgroup is cool with it, gold-bordered cards can totally shine in your kitchen table games!

I've been using gold-bordered cards in my casual games for years and everyone loves them! They add a unique flair and it's always a fun talking point. Just make sure everyone you're playing with is okay with it.

Nah, those gold-bordered cards are just for collectors and casual games. You can't use them in any serious MTG tournament.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
