Can't add anything to the Fallout 4 folder?
PassingDada·7 months agoOh boy, sounds like you've hit a bit of a snag! First thing's first, make sure you're not trying to add mods or files while the game is running - that's a no-go. If you've got admin rights on your PC, try running the game (or Steam, if that's where you've got it) as an administrator. This usually gives you the green light to mess around with game files. Additionally, double-check that your antivirus isn't being overprotective and blocking your changes. They mean well, but sometimes they gotta chill.

Mods? In my Fallout 4? More likely than you think. But seriously, check if your game's in 'Read-Only' mode. Right-click the folder, go to properties, and make sure 'Read-Only' isn't ticked. Fixed an issue like this for me once.
