From my own experience, PlayStation gift cards are tied to the region where they were purchased. You gotta make sure the card matches your PSN account region.

You need to buy gift cards from the same region as your PSN account for them to work. Regional restrictions apply and there's no way around it.

Nope, PlayStation gift cards are region-locked. You can't use a US gift card on a European account and vice versa.
