Yes, early models of the PS3 have backward compatibility with PS2 and PS1 games, but the later models only support PS1 games. Check your specific model to know for sure!

Certain early models of the PS3 can play PS2 games, but all PS3s can play original PlayStation (PS1) games. So, dust off those old discs and give it a try!

Only the original 'fat' PS3 models can play both PS2 and PS1 games. If you've got a slim or super slim, you're out of luck for PS2 games, but you can still run PS1 discs!

In short: Some PS3s can, some can't. Look for the CECHCxx or CECHExx models if you want PS2 compatibility!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
