Unfortunately, no, the PS4 can't play PS3 discs. You can, however, access some PS3 games through PlayStation Now!

Nope. The PS4 doesn't have backward compatibility for PS3 discs. But hey, the PS Now service has a bunch of PS3 titles available to stream!

I have a PS4, and I tried my old PS3 games. They didn’t work. But I’ve been able to play some of the classics through PlayStation Now.
