Absolutely! The Steam Deck runs on a version of SteamOS that’s compatible with Linux-based games, meaning you can play games on your Steam Deck alongside PC players without a hitch. It’s quite the portable game changer, pun intended.

No biggie, but YES, the Steam Deck and PC players can play together. It's all part of the Steam ecosystem. Think of the Steam Deck as a mini-PC in your hands.

Eh, technically yeah, but remember not every game is optimized for Steam Deck. So while you CAN join PC players, the experience might not always be 100% the same. Just a heads up.

Yes, the Steam Deck can play with PC players. Since it accesses the same Steam library you use on your PC, cross-play is totally doable. Just make sure the game supports cross-play between different platforms.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
