Nope, not happening. Xbox 360 and Xbox One players gotta stay in their lanes; no cross-play for GTA 5.

Tried it with a buddy once, hoping some magic would happen, but no dice. Xbox 360 and Xbox One are like two separate islands in GTA 5 world.

Nah, GTA 5 doesn't support cross-gen play, so Xbox 360 and Xbox One gamers can't play together. Each console has its own version of the game, so you're kinda stuck with players on the same console as you.
