Unfortunately, Xbox 360 controllers aren't compatible with the Xbox One. However, there are third-party adapters that can make this possible if you're really attached to that old controller!

Nope, Xbox 360 controllers don't work directly with Xbox One. You'll need to get an Xbox One controller or use an adapter.

Tried it myself. Your Xbox 360 controller won't connect to an Xbox One. Save yourself some frustration and get an Xbox One controller.
