Not the best idea for sniper life. Scopes exist for a reason, buddy. Close-up surprise? Maybe. Otherwise, scope in!

Yup, you can hip fire but don't expect to hit a fly off a Brahmin's back at 100 yards. Fallout 4's not exactly a simulator, but it's got a bit of realism. Close range? Go for it. Long range? Aim down those sights.

Absolutely, you can hip fire a sniper in Fallout 4, but 'accurately' is a relative term here. Sure, if you're up close and personal, your chances are decent, especially with perks like 'Gunslinger' or 'Rifleman' that boost your non-scoped accuracy and damage. Plus, it's wicked fun to pull off in a pinch, but for those long shots? You'll want to scope in for sure.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
