Actually, it's a bit of a trick question. For basic Pokemon, you can't attack the turn you play them. But, if you're evolving a Pokemon, that evolved Pokemon can attack on the same turn if it wasn't just played or previously evolved that turn. So, keep an eye on those evolution cards!
