Hot take: The fact you can't demote in Apex once you hit a new tier makes the game less competitive. It takes away the risk and thrill of each match!

Nope, you can't demote in Apex Legends once you've reached a new rank. Think of each rank as a checkpoint you can't fall below within a season. So, if you hit Gold, no amount of bad games will drop you back to Silver in that season. Keep grinding without fear!

Actually, you can't demote to a lower tier, but don't chill too much! Your rank resets at the start of a new season, but it's based on where you finished. Worked my way up to Plat last season and started the new one in Gold. Keeps things spicy!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
