Can you do all factions in Fallout 4?
Sorta! In Fallout 4, you can play alongside all the factions up to a certain point. The game is designed so you can work with the Railroad, the Brotherhood of Steel, the Minutemen, and the Institute for quite a bit. However, choices you make will eventually force you to side with one faction over the others. This means, to see all the content, you might need to reload old saves or start new games. But hey, more Fallout 4 action, amirite?

Can confirm from personal experience, you can buddy up with all factions for a while, but gotta commit eventually. It's like dating; you can't take everyone to the prom. I tried playing both sides to see how far I could get, and let's just say, save often if you're gonna try it.
Nope, not without making some of the factions really mad at you. Once you get deep enough into the game, you gotta pick a side. Think of it as choosing what toppings you want on your pizza - you can't have them all without making a mess.
Actually, it's kinda cool how Fallout 4 does this. You think you can be Switzerland, neutral and beloved by all, but nah. The wasteland is more 'choose your disaster' than 'happily ever after with everyone.' Makes for a great replayability factor though!
