I'm pretty sure you gotta join one of them factions to see the ending credits roll, but hey, nothing's stopping you from playing the lone wanderer for as long as you like before making that choice.

Nope, gotta pick a side. Think of it as picking the least annoying roomie in a post-apocalyptic dorm.

Technically, you can't complete the main storyline of Fallout 4 without interacting with the factions since they're a core part of the plot. However, you can minimize your involvement with them as much as possible. You'll need to pick a side eventually to progress through the main quest, but how deeply you engage with that faction's ideology and side missions is up to you. Enjoy the wasteland!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
