Absolutely, you can fish in lava in Terraria, but it's not as straightforward as fishing in water. You'll need a few specific items though. First off, grab yourself a Hotline Fishing Hook, which you can only get after completing the Angler's quests - it's kinda rare but totally worth it. Or, make your life easier by using a Lavaproof Fishing Hook or bait, both of which let you fish in lava with any fishing rod. Happy lava fishing!

Honestly, fishing in lava is a bit overrated. The effort to get the gear compared to what you pull up? Meh. Stick to water.

I fished in lava once, ended up catching some of the coolest items I've ever found in Terraria. Definitely recommend giving it a shot with the right equipment!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
