Nope, you can't get your own boat to drive around in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The closest thing you get to boating is catching a ride with Kapp’n on his boat to visit mysterious islands. It's a unique experience each time, but sadly, you don't get to steer the boat yourself.

Actually, there's no option to own or control a boat by yourself in ACNH. The only boating experience comes from Kapp’n's tours, which are more about the destination than the journey. So, grab those Nook Miles and enjoy the ride!

You cannot own a boat, but Kapp'n is your guy for all things nautical. His boat trips are part of what makes exploring beyond your island so magical. Just sit back and enjoy the tunes!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
