Short answer: yes, but you have to reset your game. Say goodbye to your current island and all your hard work. Tough choice!

Actually, getting a new island isn't as simple as pressing a button. Once you commit to an island, you're kinda stuck with it unless you're willing to wipe your game data clean. So, make sure you're really ready for a brand-new start before you say farewell to your current island life.

Yeah, you can get a new island in Animal Crossing, but it鈥檚 kinda like starting from scratch. You've gotta delete your current game save on your Switch and begin a new game. It鈥檚 a fresh start, so you'll lose all progress, but if you鈥檙e looking for that brand new island vibe, that鈥檚 how you do it.

Disagree with resetting your game. Instead, visit friends' islands for a change of scenery. It's not exactly 'new' but keeps things fresh without losing everything!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
