Nope, you can't get a Thestral mount in Hogwarts Legacy. Even though it might seem like a missed opportunity to ride around on something as cool as a Thestral, the game instead focuses on providing a broomstick for flying and other magical creatures for companionship. But who knows, maybe they'll add it in a future update or DLC!

As much as I wish it were true, you can't get a Thestral as a mount in Hogwarts Legacy. You're stuck with the classic broomstick for flying around. Not quite as edgy, but it gets the job done.
Sadly, no Thestral mounts in the game. But let's be honest, managing a Thestral would require seeing death, and I'm not sure we're ready for that level of realism in Hogwarts Legacy.
