Nah, you can't technically 'go to jail' in GTA 5. If you get busted by the cops, you just respawn outside the nearest police station minus some cash and your weapons. So, it's more like a slap on the wrist than actual jail time.

Actually, you don't get to experience the inside of a cell in GTA 5. What happens is you lose some money and get teleported outside the police station. So, it's bye-bye weapons, not hello jail cell!
