I've done it! Used Remote Play on my laptop to play PS5 games while someone else used the TV. Worked pretty well with minimal lag.

Nope, unless you use Remote Play or a capture card, a direct HDMI connection won't work. Laptops rarely have HDMI input.

Short answer: Yes, but usually through Remote Play or a capture card. Direct HDMI connections aren't common on laptops.

Yes! You can use Remote Play to stream your PS5 games to your laptop. Just install the Remote Play app, connect your DualSense controller, and make sure both devices are on the same network.

If your laptop has an HDMI input (rare, but some do), you can connect the PS5 directly via an HDMI cable. Most people will need to use Remote Play, though.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
