Nope, once your Xbox Game Pass subscription ends, you lose access to the games unless you purchase them. But hey, you do get a sweet discount if you decide to buy!
First-hand experience here! Once I let my Game Pass expire, all the games I downloaded became inaccessible. Had to renew or buy them.
You can't keep the games permanently, but you can play them as long as your Xbox Game Pass subscription is active. Think of it as a gaming buffet!
