Just destroy the workbench and rebuild it where you need it. You won't lose any materials, so it's pretty easy.

I've had to move my workbench several times. Just dismantle it and rebuild it in the new spot. You keep all the materials!

Sadly, you can’t just pick up and move a workbench. You have to demolish it and then rebuild it at the new location. Don't worry, you get all your materials back!
