Absolutely, you can pause Fallout Shelter on PC simply by hitting the 'Esc' key. This brings up the main menu, and while it doesn't freeze the game in a traditional pause sense (time will still pass in real-time), it effectively stops all gameplay, allowing you to take a break without worrying about your vault getting into trouble!

Short answer: Yes, press 'Esc'. But don't expect time to stop. Your vault will continue aging gracefully while you're away.

Nope, hitting 'Esc' doesn't really 'pause' the game. Time keeps ticking. Learned that the hard way when I came back to chaos in my vault.

If you're a Fallout Shelter player looking for extra caps or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Fallout Shelter essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
