Not all PC games will work perfectly on the Steam Deck out of the box due to compatibility issues with the device's Linux-based operating system. However, many games do run well after some tweaking thanks to Proton, a compatibility layer that allows Windows games to run on Linux. It's a mixed bag, but the library of compatible games is constantly growing!

Nope, not every game. Steam Deck's not a miracle worker, but it's got a good chunk of games you can play without fuss.

Actually, quite a lot of PC games can run on Steam Deck, especially if they're on Steam. But yeah, some might need a bit of fiddling to get working right. Luckily, there are loads of guides out there to help!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
