PS4 can't natively play PS3 discs, but lots of great PS3 games have been remastered for PS4 or are available on PlayStation Now. So, you won't miss out entirely!
Unfortunately, you can't play PS3 discs on a PS4 because the hardware isn't compatible. But you can still enjoy some PS3 classics through the PlayStation Now service, which streams them to your PS4!

I've tried it myself, and nope, the PS4 won't recognize PS3 discs. Your best bet is PlayStation Now if you're craving some PS3 action on your PS4!
