If you have a 500GB PS3, you might be out of luck. Most models after the early 'fat' versions can't play PS2 games. Sorry, folks!

Nope! PS3 500GB models do not support PS2 games. Best bet is to grab a classic 'fat' PS3 or play PS2 games on a PS2.

Only the original 'fat' PS3 models had backward compatibility with PS2 games. The 500GB models, sadly, won't run them.
