Yes, you can play PS2 Guitar Hero on a PS3, but only if you have an older model PS3 with backward compatibility. Some of the original models included hardware to play PS2 games. Otherwise, you might be out of luck.

Nah, don't even bother if you have a newer PS3. Only the OG backward-compatible models can play PS2 games.
