You can use a PS4 controller with PS5, but only for PS4 games. PS5 games require the DualSense controller.

Been there, tried that! Only PS4 games on your PS5 can use the PS4 controller. For PS5 games, it's DualSense or bust!

Nope, the PS4 controller doesn't work with PS5 games. You'll need that fancy DualSense for the next-gen experience.
