Nah, you can't play Switch games directly on the Steam Deck because they're from two different cosmos - Nintendo's and Valve's. However, some crafty gamers have found workarounds using emulators, but that's a gray area legally and not officially supported by Valve. So if you're looking for the legit route, Switch games are a no-go on the Deck.

Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no, but the internet is wild, so who knows what magic people have tried.

Nope, you can't. Stick to the vast library Steam offers; it's less hassle and 100% legal.

Actually, with enough tech savvy and disregard for copyright laws, you could technically get Switch games running on the Steam Deck using emulators. Not that I've done it, but a friend told me it's possible. Definitely not recommended or legal, though!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
