Absolutely not. Hot Wheels cars are not designed to run on regular batteries. They are either powered by good ol' fashioned pushing and letting gravity do its work or, for the motorized ones, very specific power setups. Trying to MacGyver a regular battery in there is a one-way ticket to disappointment city.
