Can you regenerate creatures with Wither in MTG?
AttainingFord路7 months agoNo way, regeneration is a waste on wither creatures. Better use those spells or abilities on creatures without wither. Keep your wither creatures attacking and let them do what they do best: weaken the opponent's forces.

I used a wither creature with regeneration in a game last week! Had a Swamp Mosquito (it's a real card, look it up) that I kept regenerating. My opponent couldn't believe it when I told him it was totally legal. Felt like a pro move.
Yep, you absolutely can regenerate creatures with Wither in Magic The Gathering. Wither makes it so that damage dealt by the creature is dealt in the form of -1/-1 counters instead of regular damage. Regeneration lets a creature 'shake off' lethal damage and stay on the battlefield. As long as you have a regeneration shield up before the damage is dealt, your wither creature lives to fight another day!
