Regarding the eMMC and SSD swap, it's a hard no. Steam Deck was designed with its components pretty integrated, so an SSD upgrade isn't on the menu. But hey, don't let that discourage you from exploring the microSD card route for extra storage!

Nope, and why mess with perfection? Steam Deck's setup is already optimized for gaming on the go.

Honestly, just get a good microSD for extra space. The hassle of even thinking about replacing something not meant to be replaced ain't worth it.

Nah, you can't just swap out the eMMC for an SSD in the Steam Deck. It's soldered onto the motherboard, so it's not like changing a memory card. However, you鈥檝e got options for expansion with a microSD card which is way easier and doesn't require you to mess with the hardware.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
