Nope, you can't. In MTG, sacrificing specifically refers to you sending your own creature to the graveyard. So, if a card or ability asks for a sacrifice, you gotta wave goodbye to one of your own creatures, not your opponent's.

Nah, sacrificing means your own stuff has to go. Can't throw your opponent's creatures into the graveyard when a spell or ability asks for a sacrifice. It's like trying to pay your bills with your neighbor's wallet鈥攏ot gonna fly.

Actually, in the vast world of MTG, there are sneaky ways around this! While you can't directly sacrifice an opponent's creature because the rules specify it must be a creature you control, there are cards that let you gain control of an opponent's creature temporarily. Once it's under your control, it's all yours to sacrifice. However, these scenarios are more about clever card interactions than bending the basic rule of sacrifice in MTG.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
