Nah, you can't directly send cold hard cash on Steam. But doing the whole digital gift card thing is pretty much the next best thing. Who doesn't like free money to spend on games?

Get Steam gift cards by playing games on Playbite

Nope, Steam doesn't let you directly send money to other users. But, you can gift them Steam Wallet credits or buy them a digital gift card instead. It's sorta like sending money, just a bit more Steam-y!

You can't send money directly, but buying a friend a game directly as a gift is a solid move. Keeps it personal and thoughtful.

Direct cash transfer? No. But you can gift games or send Steam Wallet funds through gift cards. It's the Steam version of sharing the love.

No direct money transfers. Steam isn't a bank, folks.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
