Can you spend packs on draft in MTG Arena?
DepetallingMummy路7 months agoAbsolutely! In MTG Arena, you can use packs as part of the entry fee for participating in draft events. Drafts usually require an entry fee which can be paid with gems (the premium currency) or gold (the currency you earn by playing), but the packs you've got lying around? They're more for adding cards to your collection directly. You don't exactly 'spend' packs in the way you might think, but entering a draft gives you the chance to open new packs and add more to your stash as you build a deck on the fly during the event.

Nope, that's not how it works. You can't use packs to enter drafts directly. Draft entry fees are paid in gems or gold, not packs. Think of packs as your reward treasure that you get to crack open for your collection.
Honestly, using packs directly for draft would be awesome, but unfortunately, you can't do that in MTG Arena. You've gotta use gold or gems to get in. But hey, more packs mean more cards for your collection, so it's not all bad!
