Nah, you can't just tap any card in MTG. Only cards with abilities that require tapping or that indicate they can be tapped as part of their cost can be tapped. This usually includes creatures, lands, artifacts, and some enchantments. So, don't go tapping your cards willy-nilly thinking it'll do something magical unless it's part of the game plan!

Quick answer: Nope, only cards that have tapping as part of their mechanics or costs. Tapping your opponent's face unfortunately does nothing.

From my experience, tapping is a strategic move you can't apply to just any card. Mainly, it's your lands you'll be tapping for mana, creatures to attack or utilize abilities, and some artifacts and enchantments. Each card will tell you if and when to tap it. Always read your cards!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
