Nah, you can't trade cars like Pokemon cards in GTA 5. BUT, you can sell your car at Los Santos Customs shops and then use that cash to buy a new ride. So, in a roundabout way, you sorta can trade cars by buying and selling.

No trading feature exists. You sell, you buy. That's the GTA economy!

Actually, I made a good chunk of my GTA$ by playing the sell and buy game at Los Santos Customs. Sold my tricked-out ride and got enough to buy a sweet little number plus some extra mods. Not exactly trading, but it feels pretty close when you roll out in a better car.
