Nope, you can't transfer the Resident Representative role to another player in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. If you're thinking about changing who's in charge, you're kinda out of luck. You'd have to start your island adventure all over again from scratch. Talk about a deserted island escape!

Actually, I wish! But no, you're stuck with your initial choice of Resident Representative. Makes choosing who starts the game pretty important, doesn't it?

Sadly, no. The game doesn't allow changing or transferring the Resident Representative. Your island's first player holds that title for life... or at least until you decide to reset your island and start a new game.

Quick answer: No. Once chosen, the Resident Representative is set in stone. Or should I say, set in Nook's loan agreements? ?

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
